As expected, the city of Clinton is taking the tree house case all the way to the Supreme Court.

Here's a family who checked with the city six years ago to see if they could build a Victorian-style tree house in their front yard.

The city said no problem.

Kids from all over came to play.

Then a neighbor moved away and told the city they had a hard time selling their house because of the tree house.

The city said the tree house had to go.

A Hinds County judge said the city of Clinton was wrong and would have to pay all costs if it appeals.

Tuesday night Clinton voted 5-2 to appeal.

It decided to do that after meeting in executive session.

Behind closed doors.

Barring the public.

Legally, they can do that.

But they don't have to.

From my Point of View, why conduct public business in the shadows?

Uunless they feel like they're up a tree with something to hide.
