(Jackson-AP) -- The Mississippi Supreme Court will hear arguments in a dispute between the city of Clinton and a family that put a tree house in their front yard. Scot and Mary Welch were ordered by the city to get rid of the elaborate Victorian-style, two-story tree house. Aldermen said the structure violated a city ordinance. Last year, a Hinds County judge ruled that the aldermen had no legal right to order removal of the tree house. The city appealed to the Supreme Court, which will hear arguments on July 26th.
