The City of Clinton is attempting to Throw out the Welch's Treehouse Appeal
Wolf huffs and puffs to blow the house down
City antics amount to nothing but hot air and a waste of taxpayer's time and money

The City of Clinton is attempting to deny the Welches their Constitutional right to due process.  Under the Mayor and City Attorney's direction, the city has filed a motion with the court to dismiss the Welches appeal to save their treehouse*.  If the City succeeds, the Treehouse will have to come down without ever going to Court.  During a time when the city needs to concentrate on annexation, why is the city spending time, money, and effort to deny the Welch's right to be heard in Court?  Why do they fear the Treehouse case going to Court?  Their attempt to dismiss the appeal was initiated without warning to the Treehouse counsel.
The city's actions have prompted the need for additional hearings, more paperwork, attorney time, legal costs, court time and the Judge's time in an un-merited and unjustified attempt to thwart the hard work and sincere efforts of a family to act within their Constitutional rights and legal means to save their Treehouse.
The supporters of the Treehouse respectfully request the City of Clinton to cease the dismissals and other costly delay tactics that prevent a fair and equitable trial and allow the courts to act in due process to fairly hear the arguments of both sides.
